It's been a long time coming, but the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V3's release might be just around the corner.
First teased in its early stages by Kanye West over a year ago, the Yeezy Boost 700 V3 gives the model an even more drastic update than what was seen between the V1 and V2. This time around, the entire upper has been revamped with new materials and design cues, leaving only the overall silhouette as a reminder of previous Yeezy Boost 700s.
Rather than the multilayered leather and suede seen on past versions, the V3 uses a mesh-like base supported by a cage. The midsole and lacing system have also been adjusted, further separating this version from its predecessors.
After West himself gifted a pair to DJ Khaled in September, the Yeezy Boost 700 V3 now has a rumored release date. According to py_rates, the pair will arrive on Dec. 20 for a retail price of $180, a considerable drop from the V1 and V2's $300 tag.
UPDATE (12/9): New details regarding the upcoming Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 has been revealed. According to the Yeezy Mafia, the latest 700 model does not feature a full-length Boost midsole, but instead boasts an all-new cushioning technology. The Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 is rumored to debut on Dec. 23 for $200.
UPDATE (12/19): Official release details surrounding the latest Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 has been confirmed by the brand. The upper features a glow-in-the-dark engineered mesh paired with RPU overlays. The signature Boost cushioning has been swapped out for a new PU encapsulated EVA midsole along with a herringbone rubber outsole underneath. The Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 releases on Dec. 23 on Adidas.com/Yeezy, and at select Adidas Yeezy retailers for $200. Check out an official look below.
