Kanye West’s eponymous line of Adidas footwear continues to have one of the busiest years in its history. Joining the Yeezy family next will be the winter-ready Yeezy 500 that borrows the overall look of its low-cut 500 predecessor with a higher build for a more boot-like construction.

As confirmed by the Yeezy Mafia, the first colorway of the 500 High falls right in line with Ye’s usual palette, hinging on neutral tones that allow the silhouette of the sneaker to take center stage. Black and cream combine on this introductory iteration for a clean “Slate” take.

The early word is that Yeezy 500 High will release in December for $220. Grab a first look at the upcoming silo below.

UPDATE (12/06): Adidas has officially confirmed that the Yeezy 500 High "Slate" will debut on Dec. 16 on Adidas.com/Yeezy and at select Adidas retailers for $220.
