After debunking leaked early images last month, LeBron James himself has served up an official look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 17.
James took to Instagram with a gallery of the previously unseen "2K" colorway, a vibrant, purple-based rendition presumably tied to the league's flagship video game. In addition to 2K logos on the tongue loop, detailed images reveal a closer look at the shoe's updated knit construction, heritage lion logo branding and the large Max Air bag.
As of now, the "2K" LeBron 17 hasn't been confirmed to release, but a pair in black and white has popped up on launch calendars for Oct. 3. We'll have more information on this colorway and the LeBron 17 in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (10/29): As part of the NBA 2K20 x Nike Gamer Exclusive Program, fans will be able to earn the chance to purchase the "Bron 2K" Nike LeBron 17. Starting today, players can complete in-game challenges through the game's MyPlayer mode to unlock the limited edition colorway. Check out an official look below.
