After flipping the "Red Carpet" theme a few years ago on the LeBron 14, Nike could be bringing back the OG for the first time.
With rumors of a Air Max LeBron 7 retro swirling, it looks like one of the sneaker's most popular colorways is the first to be confirmed. While nothing has been set in stone by Nike, a style code and expected release date for the sneaker have surfaced.
Notable for its unique colorway, the "Red Carpet" LeBron 7 uses a black woven paneling in place of the model's traditional Flywire along with tumbled white leather rather than the patent used on many colorways. Glass Blue accents fill in the Air bubble and details, while Chilling Red branding stands out on the tongue and medial side.
As of now, the "Red Carpet" LeBron 7 is expected to release next month on Oct. 29, although nothing has been confirmed.
UPDATE (10/01): Foot Locker's release calendar confirms that the Nike Air Max LeBron 7 will return in retro form donning the fan favorite "Red Carpet" colorway on Oct. 29.
