Still months before 2019 comes to a close, official images of a new Nike Air Max 98 have surfaced that may indicate the Swoosh's plans to ring in the new year.
The 'New Year' theme isn't as often celebrated on sneakers as its Chinese New Year counterpart but this new Air Max 98 kicks off the celebrations early, which boasts a black-based upper that's paired with premium cork overlays. The shoe's standout feature is the fireworks-inspired graphic placed throughout the black iridescent mudguard and eyelets. Furthering the 'New Year' theme is "New Year, New Plan, Just Do It" printed onto the insole. Completing the overall look is a white Air Max-cushioned midsole and a gum outsole.
As of now, official release info surrounding the Nike Air Max 98 "New Years" has yet to be disclosed but stick with Sole Collector for updates.
