The city of Chicago will be getting its own special make-up of the Nike Air Force 1 Low soon.

On the surface, this shoe appears to be a simple black-on-black execution, but many hidden references are scattered throughout the model. A graphic of the Chicago skyline is featured on the tongue tag, which is also dressed in the colors of the city's flag. The inside of the tongue is covered in a red and white pinstripe design reminiscent of the throwback White Sox jerseys, along with a faux fur heel tab and a green insole that draw inspiration from the annual dyeing of the Chicago River for St. Patrick's Day. Capping off the look is a translucent checkerboard outsole said to be inspired by the legendary Checkerboard Lounge located in the South Side.

A release date for this "Chicago" Air Force 1 Low is currently unavailable, but keep it locked to Sole Collector for updates.
