Despite the recent fallout between Big Baller Brand and the Ball family (Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo), neither Lonzo and LaMelo will be signing a sneaker endorsement deal with Nike, according to their father Lavar Ball.
In a TMZ video, Lavar addressed the Swoosh's rumored interest in signing LaMelo, who is forecasted to be a top 2019-20 NBA pick by stating, "Everybody is scouting Lamelo. It's okay though—I said it is a family brand, didn't I?" Even though Lonzo has voiced his concerns regarding the defects on his signature ZO2 sneakers and hinted at a potential move to Nike, Lavar confirms that his son will remain with BBB, saying "Lonzo can think all day. He ain't signing with nobody. Big Baller Brand. That's what I said."
Lavar also teased a big Big Baller Brand comeback sometime in the future, but details regarding its return have yet to be disclosed.
