For years, NBA veteran Vince Carter has been longing for the return of the Nike Shox line. That wish came to fruition back in November when the brand announced that Carter would be wearing the iconic Shox BB4 for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.  Sneaker fans who have also been waiting for the model to return to retailers won't have to wait much longer.

According to Foot Locker's release calendar, the Shox BB4 will arrive on June 29 in the classic white leather and navy blue suede make-up that was famously worn by Carter in the 2000 Sydney Olympics when he leaped over the 7'2" Frederic Weis of the French National Team. Note that the pair pictured above is a version that Carter wore during this past season, which may differ from next month's retail release.

The "Olympics" Nike Shox BB4 is slated to return on Jun. 29. Retail pricing has yet to be unveiled, but stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks.

UPDATE (09/01): Here's an official look at the Nike Shox BB4 "Olympics." This pair was originally scheduled to release in June but is now expected to release sometime this year. Stick with Sole Collector for updates.
