Inspired by Reebok's throwback "It’s A Woman’s World" ad campaign from 2001, the brand will celebrate female empowerment and gender equality with a new "It's A Man's World" collection.
The upcoming collection will include three retro sneakers—the Club C, Workout and Freestyle Hi. Each pair is executed with a cream-colored makeup featuring new details including the wording "It's A Man's World" crossed out on the heel to further the message of the campaign, which celebrates women who are making waves in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Alongside these three sneakers, the campaign will alater include five collaborative sneakers designed by five ladies who are defying standards in their respective fields including Jazerai Allen-Lord, Ebony Naomi Oshunrinde, Anhia Zaira Santana, Kimberly Drew, and Sanne Poeze. Each pair will bring their unique story to life on models including the Club C, Aztrek Runner, Freestyle Hi, Instapump Fury, and Daytona DMX.
The "It’s A Man’s World" collection will release at reebok.com/iamw and select retailers worldwide starting on Sept. 1. Allen-Lord’s yet-to-be-revealed Club C will also be available on Sept. 1 exclusively at Reebok's web store in both men’s and women’s sizing.
