Nike is lacing Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios with a brand new colorway of his NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5 hybrid silhouette before he steps onto the courts later this month at the Flushing Meadows for the 2019 U.S. Open.

This limited-edition pair features a black-based color scheme that's contrasted by purple and green accents including on the Venus Flytrap-inspired lacing shroud and sock liner. Graffiti-like details cover the Swoosh branding by the heel while torn-poster graphics appear on the toe bumper, paying homage to NYC and its basketball roots. Additional details include a combination of both Kyrie Irving's signature logo with the NikeCourt branding stamped on the tongue.

The latest Nike Air Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5 "NYC" launches globally on Saturday, Aug. 24 for $160. Expect Kyrgios to rock the special New York-inspired hybrid kicks on-court for the 2019 U.S. Open, which takes place on Aug. 26 to Sept. 8.
