Set to lead Greece into the FIBA World Cup this weekend, reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokoumpo has officially unveiled a new colorway of his debut signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Freak 1, in a colorway inspired by his home country.
The shoe starts with an obvious nod to Greece — a blue and white palette borrowed from the nation's flag. Beyond that, there's a repeated Greek fret throughout the shoe's upper and golden accents that represent Antetokounmpo's quest to bring the gold medal back home.
