With the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup tipping off this month and the Olympics taking place next summer, Nike Basketball will celebrate one of Vince Carter's greatest dunks with its new AlphaDunk model.

Dubbed "Dunk of Death," the upcoming release draws inspiration from Carter's dunk over the 7'2" Frederic Weis of the French National Team during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. This pair dons a patriotic red, white and blue color scheme, with USA Basketball's official crest placed on the heel on the right sneaker and 'Dunk of Death' printed on the insole.

According to Finish Line's release calendar, the Nike AlphaDunk "Dunk of Death" will release on Aug. 30 for $170.
