Following this week's early look at the forthcoming "Tinker Sketch" Nike Air Max 1, it appears that another work-in-progress-themed iteration of the classic running sneaker is making its way to retailers later this year.
Similar to the aforementioned pair, the "Schematic" Air Max 1 features a white leather upper, contrasted by text on each element inspired by the shoe's original creation process. Additional details include designer Tinker Hatfield's signature on the heel, along with the "Schematic Property of Nike Not for Resale' printed on the inside. Adding to the theme is a white midsole with black outlines that bears similarities to the work of artist Joshua Vides.
This Nike Air Max 1 "Schematic" is rumored to launch sometime in September 2019, but stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates on this release.
UPDATE (07/09): Along with a white/red Air Max 1 inspired by Tinker Hartfield's original sketch, the origin theme will continue with this black and white "Schematic" make up to complete the "Sketch to Shelf" pack. Look for both pairs to drop Saturday, July 13.
UPDATE (08/02): Here's an official look at the "Schematic" Nike Air Max 1 in the white colorway. This monochromatic pair is scheduled to release on Friday, Aug. 9 via SNKRS for a retail price of $150.
