Alongside the "Dunk of Death" Nike AlphaDunk scheduled to drop later this month, the 2000 Sydney Olympics will be the source of inspiration for another release—this time for NBA legend Kevin Garnett's Nike Air Flightposite 2.

Created by the Swoosh's Alpha Project team back in the late '90s, this particular white and blue color scheme was the exact makeup KG wore during the aforementioned 2000 Olympics. The upper combines Foamposite with a breathable neoprene, covering an inner bootie hidden by a zipper running down the midfoot. Additional tech is included with a Zoom Air-cushioned midsole and rubber outsole.

Official release info surrounding the Nike Air Flightposite 2 has yet to be announced by Nike, but stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
