With the FIBA World Cup set to tip off on Aug. 31, Jordan Brand has unveiled a sneaker collection celebrating the upcoming tournament.
A mix of performance and lifestyle models, the collection consists of the Air Jordan 4, Jordan 12, Jordan 33 SE and Jordan Jumpman Diamond. The shoes are linked by markings of flags representing the participating nations, as well as Michael Jordan's summer hoops mantra, "For the Love of the Game." As the brand's current performance silos, the Jordan 33 SE and Jumpman Diamond were natural fits in the collection, while the Jordan 4 was selected as a nod to the model's 30th Anniversary and the Jordan 12 was chosen because it was the first Jordan game shoe to release in Greater China.
While stateside release information hasn't been announced, the Jumpman Diamond (Aug. 8), Jordan 33 SE (Aug. 22), Jordan 12 (Aug. 24) and Jordan 4 (Sep. 1) are all releasing in Greater China.
