Reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the talk of the basketball sneaker world this summer thanks to his debut signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Freak 1, which has already surfaced in a ton of colorways. But it turns out Antetokounmpo is no stranger to sneakers in numbers.

The Greak Freak sat down with ESPN's Rachel Nichols on "The Jump" to talk about his new Nikes. During the discussion, Nichols touches on the stories of Giannis growing up sharing shoes with his older brother, Thanasis, and asks how many pairs he owns these days. Antetokounmpo says the number is around 4,000, and is so large that he's got it spread out through multiple locations—he even still has some back home in Athens.

"I got a shoe closet. It's a big room. In there is probably around 300, 400. But I got a large storage unit that I have in my house, and I have a lot of shoes in Greece also," Antetokounmpo said.

In related news, Antetokounmpo and his brothers were out and about in Queens, New York this afternoon for a Foot Locker event where they surprised fans with early pairs of the upcoming "Coming to America" Zoom Freak 1
