With the 2019 NBA Playoffs in full effect, Nike Basketball customarily takes this opportunity to debut the latest variation to LeBron James' more affordable Soldier sneaker line. Although James is absent of this year's postseason, it appears that the forthcoming LeBron Soldier 13 has surfaced.Â
The previously unseen shoe boasts a black textile mesh upper featuring two vibrant velcro cross-straps in neon green and orange on the midfoot to help wearers achieve complete lockdown— a design element that's been present throughout the Soldier series. Printed on the center of the insole is 'LS13,' indicating that this is the 13th model of the line. Underneath sits a two-tone foam midsole and a grey outsole.Â
As of now, Nike Basketball has yet to officially unveil the upcoming LeBron Soldier 13. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (05/30): A Los Angeles Lakers-inspired colorway of the LeBron Soldier 13 has surfaced, courtesy of Chinese blog Hupu. The pair features a black mesh upper with purple and gold accenting the dual cross-straps at the midfoot. Additional gold hits can be seen on the midsole and insole. A large white "LJ" crown logo stitched on the midfoot and mini Swoosh on the lateral heel complete the design.
There is still currently no word of when to expect the Soldier 13 to begin to arrive at retailers.
UPDATE (06/27):Â An official look at the LeBron Soldier 13 has arrived in its debut "Thunder Grey" colorway. Expect this pair to drop from Nike Basketball retailers on July 1.
