The Nike SB line has seen a resurgence in popularity in recent times, and the reemergence of this long-forgotten De La Soul x Dunk Low sample may help add to the hype.

Thanks to Project Blitz is a look at the coveted Nike SB Dunk Low inspired by De La Soul's sixth album AOI: Bionix that released in December 2001.

The shoe first surfaced in 2008, but slowly faded into memory. Some people were anticipating the shoe, in the height of the Nike SB era, because it was supposed to be the third installment in the collaboration between De La Soul and Nike SB.

Similar to the album cover, a metallic silver patent leather covers the entirety of the uppers. Additional details include the name of the album embroidered on the heel in black. Capping off the look is a white midsole and a black outsole. The shoe never saw a release, but these new images give us out best look yet at the model.

The hip-hop group collaborated with Nike SB in the past, including the release of two Dunk Highs and two Dunk Lows.
