LeBron James' future with the Los Angeles Lakers appears a little shaky at the moment, if recent rumors are to be believed, but that doesn't mean that Nike doesn't have some more purple and gold pairs of the LeBron 16 on the way.

The latest colorway of James' sixteenth signature to surface sports a light purple Battleknit 2.0 upper with a yellow mesh tongue and laces. Each tongue is emblazoned with purple and black LJ crown logos, a matching "2" and "3" styled in classic Lakers font, and the superstar's signature stitched in baby blue.

Each heel tab is striped to resemble the throwback MPLS Lakers uniforms. A light blue heel panel covered in the 16 years that the franchise captured the NBA title, speckled midsole, and insoles that feature "LeBron" written in Lakers-inspired lettering complete the design.

Lakers fans will be able to get their hands on this LeBron 16 colorway when it hits select retailers on Saturday, May 18 for $185.
