The Nike Kyrie 5 has been dressed in some eye-catching colorways this year and the latest one to surface might be one of the wildest yet. Thanks to @US_11 on Twitter, there is now a first look at the upcoming Bandulu x Nike Kyrie 5.
Bandulu is a a Boston-based clothing brand known for up-cycling vintage goods to create brand new garments. Its clothes have even recently been spotted on Drake courtside during the Toronto Raptors' playoff run. The brand frequently flips old school Nike T-shirts and hoodies, but not under any official capacity like its upcoming venture with the brand. Being that Irving currently plays for the Boston Celtics, the bubbling local brand seems like a worthy collaborator.
For this collab, a cream mesh upper is covered in multi-colored paint splatters, a signature addition seen on almost all of Bandulu's products in embroidered form. A large white Swoosh dons the side panel, while a mini Swoosh has been added to the lateral toe as well. Green detailing can be seen on the tongue and liner, while additional branding hits opt for red. "Nike Basketball" is written on the left heel and "Bandulu Street Couture" dons the right.
A release date has yet to be revealed for the Bandulu x Nike Kyrie 5, but check out initial images below.
