The winner of the 2019 NBA MVP award isn't officially announced until June 24, but if the prestigious honor does end up in the hands of James Harden once again, Adidas has a special pair of kicks just for the occasion.
Courtesy of @wavegod_thelegend, new images of a never-before-seen iteration of the Harden Vol. 3 have surfaced featuring details that celebrate Harden potentially crowned as the back-to-back MVP. The shoe features a yellow upper that fades into a black mesh toe box, separated by a red midfoot strap. Additional details include a bio-hazard logo printed on the lateral side along with 'MVP' on the insole. Capping off the look is a blacked-out Boost midsole and outsole. As of now, a release date hasn't been announced.
Last year, leaks of an Adidas Harden MVP sneaker collection also surfaced prior to Harden winning his first-ever MVP award. Tune into the 2019 NBA Awards ceremony on June 24 on TNT to find out who takes home the coveted MVP trophy.
