Following drops like the return of 1997's EQT Salvation and an OG-inspired colorway of the ZX 10000C, the latest in-house release from Adidas Consortium in 2019 marks the return of the LX CON from 1996.

This retro version of the '90s runner stay true to OG form with a mesh upper, leather overlays, and a neoprene tongue. The original color scheme remains intact too in the form of a white upper, black Three Stripes on each side panel, and bright purple detailing on the tongue and heel. Clear piping runs its way from the eyestay to the heel for added stability, while the upper sits atop a black rubber midsole with a Torsion system bridging the forefoot and rearfoot.

Adidas brought back an updated take on the LX CON earlier this year. The modified model was previewed by Jonah Hill and would go on to release in multiple color schemes.

Look for the OG Adidas LX CON at select Consortium retailers beginning on June 1 for $130.
