Nike has unveiled the latest model in its React Flyknit series, the Phantom React Flyknit.
Its one-piece upper is largely similar to previous Epic React Flyknit models, but removes a lacing system in favor of a slip-on design. A pull tab on the tongue gives the runner a similar look to the Adapt BB, while an additional heel pull tab also aids with the on-off process. Elastic Flyknit yarn used on the tongue and ankle collar provide a snug fit despite the lack of laces. A plastic heel clip adds additional structure to the upper. The pair sits atop a white React midsole.
The debut colorway of this new silhouette sports a multi-colored pink, purple, blue, and red upper with a black-based pattern used on certain sections to resemble a tongue and toe box. Black pull tabs, a black Swoosh outline etched into the side panel, and a glossy black heel clip complete the design.
