In celebration of Earth Day, that is observed yearly on Apr. 22, Nike will be showing its support with brand new eco-friendly sneakers.
The collection will feature the Air Force 1 Low, Blazer Low, and the Cortez. Aligning with the theme, the uppers have been reworked with the brand's latest Flyleather technology that’s created with at least 50 percent recycled leather fiber while still looking and feeling like regular leather. Designed by LA-based designer and artist Steven Harrington, a bold caricature along with a mini-Swoosh branding is printed on the lateral side.
The entire Nike Earth Day collection is slated to hit the SNKRS app and at select Nike retailers on Apr. 22. The Nike Cortez, Blazer Low, and Air Force 1 Low will retail for $80, $90, and $100 respectively.
