Nike is introducing yet another lifestyle model with its chunky 270-degree Air Max unit in the heel, the basketball-inspired Air Edge 270.

This high-top slightly resembles Charles Barkley'sAir Max2 CB 94 signature model from 1994. It sports a mesh bootie upper, perforations running up the tongue, and nubuck overlays. The main detail is the Velcro straps on each side panel acting as eyelets.

The debut colorway of the Air Edge 270 is dressed in a Pure Platinum upper. It also showcases bright orange pull tabs on the tongue and heel, and a translucent 270-degree Air bubble in the heel portion of the midsole. Subtle Nike branding appears on the tongue tab, side panel, and heel.

Anyone interested in this new model can currently purchase it at select retailers like YCMC for $160.
