The "Heroes Among Us" collection of basketball sneakers are not the only special pairs Adidas created to celebrate the theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame. The Three Stripes has also produced two colorways of the Speedfactory AM4 inspired by two of the film's most powerful characters, Thanos and Captain Marvel.
Each colorway was designed by Marvel comic artist Jen Bartel to represent the villain and hero, respectively. Thanos' pair is dressed in a purple knit upper to mimic his skin. A gold heel portion and Three Stripes branding represent the powerful Infinity Gauntlet with six colored dots on the lateral heel symbolizing each of the six Infinity Stones.
Captain Marvel's colorway features a navy blue and red upper with gold detailing inspired by the colors of her suit. The gold star seen on Captain Marvel's chest is stamped on each lateral side panel as well. Both pairs are completed with a Marvel logo emblazoned on the medial side panel, white Boost midsole, and Continental rubber outsole.
Both pairs from the Marvel x Adidas Speedfactory AM4 "Avengers Pack" are currently available exclusively at Foot Locker Hollywood and Highland, Foot Locker Times Square, and footlocker.com for $150.
