Following up images of the "Neon Seoul" Air Max 97 surfacing in recent weeks, looks at more pairs from the "On Air" collection are arriving as well. The latest is a look at the "Shanghai Kaleidoscope" Air Max 97 designed by Cash Ru.

This pair was designed as a part of Nike's "On Air" contest held last year for Air Max Day 2018 and was chosen to represent Shanghai. Ru's design is a remixed take on the retro runner inspired by the skies in his home city. The multi-layered design features a translucent blue upper, matching suede mudguard, white detailing, and subtle red branding on the tongue and side panel. The layered look continues on the tongue and heel with multiple pull tabs. Finishing touches include special branding on each insole and a white Air Max unit.

An exact release date has yet to be announced for the "Shanghai Kaleidoscope" Air Max 97. Take a look at detailed images below, courtesy of @J23app on Twitter.
