Late last year, basketball legend and Memphis Tigers head coach Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway showed off a never-before-seen Nike Air Foamposite One that was expected to be exclusive for the players and staff of the basketball team. Now, it appears the special PE will be dropping this weekend.
Inspired by the school's mascot, the blue Foamposite boasts contrasting black tiger stripes throughout the upper, with white mini Swoosh branding by the toe, white laces and a black outsole. According to US_11, this "quickstrike" release is dropping in a limited fashion.
The Nike Air Foamposite One QS "Memphis Tigers" are expected to launch this Saturday, Mar. 9 at select Nike Basketball stockists. Retail pricing has yet to be announced.
