Following months of teasers, Adidas has finally officially announced its upcoming Game of Thrones collaboration.
The collection will include six colorways of the Ultra Boost inspired by various characters and houses from the hit fantasy series: Night’s Watch, the White Walkers, House Targaryen, House Stark, and House Lannister. Each pair is completed with insoles emblazoned with the show's logo, as well as each faction's logo and motto printed on the tongue and heel tag.
"Collaborations with franchises like Game of Thrones are part of our DNA. When brands and television series alike are able to move beyond their primary platform and spill into popular culture, we see inspiration. The project is yet another example of our open source strategy by which we treat our most iconic silhouettes as a canvas upon which we can tell a story," said General Manager of Adidas Running Alberto Uncini Manganelli in an official press release.
Look for the Game of Thrones x Adidas Ultra Boost collection to release at adidas.com and other select retailers on March 22, a few weeks prior to the season 8 premiere on April 14, for $180 each.
