Last year, Jordan Brand debuted a brand new iteration of the classic Air Jordan 3 inspired by Tinker Hatfield's original sketches of the silhouette. The major difference was the addition of a Swoosh to the side panel. Following up a handful of releases in 2018, Tinker's Air Jordan 3 is making its return in 2019.
According to @zsneakerheadz, the remixed silhouette will be getting the "Katrina" treatment. The once-revered colorway received a retro release on the OG Air Jordan 3 silhouette this past May. While no official photos have surfaced up to this point, expect the pair to mimic its predecessor with a white leather upper, grey elephant print panels, and red detailing.
The tentative release date for the "Katrina" Air Jordan 3 TH SP is March 30 at $200. Check out an unofficial rendering of what to expect from the upcoming pair below.

Release Date: 03/30/19
Color: White/University Red-Neutral Grey
UPDATE (02/28): After initial rumors pointed to this upcoming Air Jordan 3 Tinker colorway resembling the model's "Katrina" iteration, official product images reveal that the look actually takes inspiration from one of Hatfield's most important designs, the Air Max 1.
This Air Jordan 3 Tinker style mixes a white leather upper with a stark brush of red across the toe and heel overlays and mudguard for a look reminiscent of the OG Air Max 1 colorway. Keeping with the theme, the Jordan 3 also includes contrasting grey at the heel and fitting Nike Air branding.
UPDATE (03/14): Official images of the OG Air Max 1-inspired "University Red" Air Jordan 3 Tinker have surfaced. The latest round of images gives a closer look at the "Nike" branding stitched on the medial side panel and multiple laces options. The main detail is the four removable red, white, grey, and elephant print Swooshes that will come packaged with the pair to allow for personal customization.
