With the recent resurgence of the Nike Skateboarding line, the brand is linking with Japanese graphic designer Verdy for its latest collaboration surrounding the popular SB Dunk Low, with two possible iterations dropping this year.

Teased by the designer on Instagram last month was a red-on-red colorway of the Dunk Low featuring "Girls Don't Cry" branding embroidered by the heel, along with a butterfly graphic on the tongue tag. Adding to the aforementioned pair, the Verdy has shared an additional grey-based colorway featuring red "Girls Don't Cry" embroidery and a red outsole.

As of now, no specific release information has been shared by both Nike SB and Verdy except that the pairs are expected to release sometime in 2019. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.

UPDATE (02/05): Verdy has announced the release date for the all-red Girls Don't Cry x Nike SB Dunk Low on Instagram. The Valentine's Day-esque color scheme will be dropping a few days ahead of the romantic holiday on Feb. 9 exclusively in Osaka, Japan, the designer's hometown. Plans of a wider launch in the future have yet to be announced.
