StockX has teamed up with the Golden State Warriors and Dominic Chambrone (aka The Shoe Surgeon) to give people a chance at a very limited pair of "Championship Tradition" Air Jordan 1s crafted by the well known sneaker craftsman.
Chambrone re-imagined the classic high-top with a Warriors-colored patent leather upper, white mesh panels that use authentic team jerseys, and a unique lacing system incorporating pieces of the nets used on the Dubs' practice courts during their current championship run. "Strength in Numbers" is debossed on the ankle collar in place of the usual Wings branding, the team's official logo is stamped in gold on the tongue, and a heel tab has been added to commemorate the franchise's six NBA championships. Only six pairs were made in total.
From now until March 4 at 12 p.m. EST, a $10 donation will enter you in a drawing to win one of the limited Air Jordan 1s. Other prizes include jerseys signed by superstars like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. Signed game-worn shoes from other team members and a basketball signed by head coach Steve Kerr will also be up for grabs. 12 winners be selected on March 6.
All net proceeds will be donated to the Golden State Warriors Foundation—a charity benefiting the education and youth development for students, schools, and communities in the Bay Area. Check out more details and make a donation here.
