In Dec. 2018, Penny Hardaway's Nike Zoom Rookie hybrid basketball sneaker made a surprising return to retailers with the re-launch of the "Glow in the Dark" colorway. Now, it looks like another popular iteration is making a comeback.

With the NBA All-Star festivities happening this month, it's fitting that the Galaxy theme is expected to return, as it was one of the most hyped colorways to ever release made popular on the Foamposite One as part of Nike's collection of All-Star sneakers in 2012. Staying true to the original release, the upper dons the iconic "Galaxy" Foamposite shell, paired with black nubuck overlays on the lateral and medial pods. Additional details include the red 'Remove Before Flight' tongue and heel tabs, along with a blue glow-in-the-dark outsole. The hybrid model draws design components from three of Hardaway's signature sneaker line including the Air Flight One, Air Go LWP and fan-favorite Air Foamposite One.

According to Shoe Palace, the 2019 version of the "Galaxy" Nike Zoom Rookie is expected to arrive on Feb. 22, which is the week following the NBA All-Star festivities. Retail pricing as yet to be announced by Nike.

UPDATE (02/15): Official images of the 2019 retro for the Nike Zoom Rookie "Galaxy" have surfaced. The Penny hybrid is slated to hit select retailers on Feb. 22.
