Jerry Lorenzo's original performance basketball model, the Nike Air Fear of God 1, is reportedly hitting retailers in another new colorway this summer. According to @pyleaks on Twitter, the "Amarillo" Air Fear of God 1 will be releasing.
This colorway was debuted by Lorenzo in his Complex Cover story with John Mayer this past November. The pair is constructed of a bright yellow upper, matching lacing cage overlay, and white midsole. A white mini Swoosh adorns the lateral side of the cage, while additional branding will also be found on each heel under the zipper. A blue-tinted, stacked Zoom Air unit in the heel provides cushioning.
Along with this Fear of God 1, the Fear of God SA is also rumored to arrive in a brand new "Wheat Gold" colorway with a gold-toned upper, glossy black Swoosh, and sail midsole.
Expect both pairs to hit select Nike accounts some time in Summer 2019 for $300 and $350, respectively. Stay tuned as more details become available regarding Lorenzo's latest hyped-up releases.
UPDATE (02/27): Jerry Lorenzo took to Instagram to dismiss the rumor that a "Wheat Gold" Fear of God SA (which he referred to as "Garden Glove Yellow") would be releasing in the near future. "Yes, we sampled this #GardenGloveYellow Shoot Around. No, it's never been confirmed. Please stop believing photoshops," the caption reads.
The designer did not make mention of the rumored "Amarillo" Air Fear of God 1 that was teased on the same day. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
