Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins has been the biggest name that Puma has signed under its revived basketball division this season. The four-time All-Star has been on the sideline most of the year recovering from an Achilles injury, but Puma is already taking advantage of his recent return by debuting new footwear.
During shootaround before last Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the same game he absolutely posterized Kyle Kuzma in, Boogie rocked the never-before-seen Puma Uproar. The brand's brand new basketball performance model follows up its predecessor, the Clyde Court. Cousins debuted the pair in a black colorway with white detailing.
The shoe appears to feature a majority mesh upper, while tonal overlays wrap the side panels. A black toe cap acts as a more traditional touch. White outlines the signature formstripe on the lateral side panel and also wraps the heel. It sits on a speckled midsole, which appears to feature NRGY cushioning.
An official release date for the Puma Uproar has yet to be announced.
