Just hours ago, Nike unveiled Kyrie Irving's newest project: a collab with tennis player Nick Kyrgios on the Nike Vapor X Kyrie 5. With an upper inspired by the Kyrie 5 basketball model and the midsole tech and tooling of the Vapor X tennis shoe, the new sneaker blends the best of both sports, but it's not all the duo have up their sleeves.

During the Boston Celtics' home showing against the Brooklyn Nets tonight, Irving laced up a "Hot Lava"-accented PE colorway of the Kyrie 5 which matches the color blocking of the Nike Vapor X Kyrie 5.

Nearly all of the hybrid model's design traits are referenced on the hoops iteration, including a predominantly white upper with a black Swoosh, tongue, and liner, while the pink-leaning "Hot Lava" shade fills in the outsole and heel counter.

The Nike Vapor X Kyrie 5 will be released next Monday, Jan. 14, although there are currently no drop details for this Kyrie 5 PE.
