Perhaps one of the final pairs releasing from Virgil Abloh's popular 'The Ten' Collection, the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 will soon be delivered in a sleek black-based colorway.
The reinterpreted runner features black leather, nubuck and mesh panels, highlighted by Abloh's trademark deconstructed details, including large Swoosh branding in white, throughout. A bit more splash of color comes in the form of bright blue zip tie tags.
"Personally I'm visually obsessed with the combination of black sneaker/white Swoosh white laces," Abloh stated on Instagram last December, before the cryptic foreshadowing of The Ten's conclusion.
It's believed that the black Off-White x Air Max 90 will release on Thursday, Jan. 17 for $160. The "Desert Ore" colorway is also expected to release this month.
UPDATE (01/14): Originally expected to release this week, py_rates is now reporting that a shipment delay has caused the release of the black Off-White x Air Max 90 and its "Desert Ore" counterpart to be pushed back to Thursday, Feb. 7. This information also appears to be confirmed by a recent update to Nike's news post for kid's sizes of the sneakers.
