Nike's been teasing the Air Max 720 since last summer, and now the sneaker is finally about to drop.
As promised, the runner is equipped with Nike's tallest Air unit yet—more on that here. But beyond the shoe's futuristic build and first-of-its-kind cushioning, the Air Max 720 is also notable for its multitude of materials and colorways.
“Color needs to strike a balance between amplifying the tech and making its own statement," says Courtney Dailey, Nike VP of Color Design.
To introduce the sneaker, Nike has prepped several men's and women's colorways with both nods to the past (see the Air Max Plus-like "Sunrise" style) and advances on previously used concepts (the "Northern Lights" day and night colorways).
With launches beginning Friday, Feb. 1, expect to see a lot of the Air Max 720 throughout the month.
