Jerry Lorenzo's first Nike collaboration is fast approaching. With the release of his own original silhouette, the Air Fear of God 1, just weeks away, official images of the "Light Bone" colorway have surfaced.
Seen in previous images of the model, the high-top performance shoe features a premium leather upper, TPU cage wrapping the heel, a zipper up the heel, long rope laces that wrap the ankle, and a stacked Zoom Air unit in the midsole. Branding is kept to a minimum with a small black Swoosh on the lateral side and tonal Nike Air and Fear of God logos on the heel.
The Nike Air Fear of God 1 is scheduled to hit select retailers on Dec. 15 for $350. It will be accompanied by an off-court version dubbed the Fear of God SA (Shoot Around) that will be available at a slightly more affordable $300 price point. Lorenzo also recently sat down with John Mayer and Joe La Puma for Complex's latest cover story to give some more details about the process behind his upcoming Nike project.
UPDATE (01/07): After originally being slated to release on Dec. 15 along with the rest of the Nike Air Fear of God collection, Jerry Lorenzo has confirmed that the "Light Bone" Air Fear of God 1 will be launching on Saturday, Jan. 19. This pair sports a slightly more premium look than the original "Black" colorway, thanks to a tumbled leather upper replacing the mesh seen on the darker pair. Expect Lorenzo's basketball sneaker to drop via Nike SNKRS and other select retailers for $350.
