Jordan Brand is dropping a brand new "Hyper Crimson" colorway of the Air Jordan 1 this week.
This pair sports a black tumbled leather upper with grey suede overlays on the toe, eyelets, ankle collar, heel, and Swoosh on each side panel. A faded Hyper Crimson suede wrapping the ankle collar resembles the vintage-inspired look of the massively popular Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 collaboration that dropping this past November. A cream-colored Wings logo and midsole add to the throwback aesthetic of this retro colorway.
The lateral side panel of this Air Jordan 1 also boasts a feature never-before-seen on MJ's inaugural signature sneaker. "SP 19 Air Jordan 1 High OG" is written below the Swoosh à la Virgil Abloh's trademark text detailing seen throughout the Off-White x Nike "The Ten" range.
Expect the Air Jordan 1 "Hyper Crimson" to hit select retailers on Thursday, Jan. 24 for $160.
