Like much of the Los Angeles-based brand's work, this pair draws inspiration from the world of sports. The low-top Chuck is covered in black, red, and orange chenille embroidery to resemble the patchwork seen on traditional varsity jackets. A panther's head can be seen at the center of each lateral side panel to symbolize a team's mascot.
The rest of the upper sports various forms of Undefeated branding reminiscent of vintage high school logos. A final detail comes in the form of cursive "Undefeated" script written on each tongue in white as a nod to the name of the player usually stitched on the front of the jacket. Adding to the premium feel, each pair will come packaged in a co-branded dust bag.
The Undefeated x Converse Chuck 70 Ox is currently available over at undefeated.com for $120. A wider launch is scheduled for Dec. 15.
