'Medicine Ball' Air Trainer 3s Are Returning in April

The OG 'Medicine Ball' colorway of the Nike Air Trainer 3 is making a return to retailers. The 1988 Bo Jackson trainer was last retroed in 2014.

The OG "Medicine Ball" Nike Air Trainer 3 looks like it is getting another retro release in the near future. 

This popular colorway of the Bo Jackson training model originally released in 1988. The OG color scheme was also famously worn by Mookie in the classic Spike Lee film Do the Right Thing.  It was last seen at retailers back in 2014. Its white leather upper is accented by Ginger and navy blue overlays. Light Bone colors the TPU lacing setup that wraps the heel and adjustable strap across the forefoot. The mid-top sits atop a white midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel.

An exact release date has yet to be announced for the "Medicine Ball" Nike Air Trainer 3, but take a look at official images below. 

UPDATE (03/30): If you missed out on last night's #LeBronWatch drop featuring the LeBron 16 "Air Trainer," the original inspiration behind the latest design dubbed the "Medicine Ball" Nike Air Trainer 3 will be making its return on Apr. 25 via the SNKRS app for a retail price of $130.
