Rumors began to circulate this past May that Nike was going to be bringing back the Air Max2 Light in 2019. With the new year fast approaching, there is now a look at two colorways of the '90s runner slated to release next year.
Each colorway of the Air Max2 Light utilizes the popular "Aqua" color scheme. One pair features a teal mesh upper, suede overlays, and a purple suede Swoosh. The other flips the colors with a purple upper and teal branding. Both pairs will also sport white Air Max logos on the tongue, clear branding on the heel and dubrae, and a black midsole.Â
These two pairs are not the only variations of this 1994 model you can expect to hit retailers. There has also been speculation of OG colorways making a return, as well as a more extravagant collaboration with Atmos that was spotted at this year's ComplexCon.
Look for the "Aqua" pack of Nike Air Max2 Lights to make its retro debut at retailers some time in 2019. In the meantime, take a look at official images of each below.Â
