Tennis superstar and Nike athlete Maria Sharapova is the latest guest on Complex's Sneaker Shopping. For this episode, host Joe La Puma chops it up with the multiple-time Grand Slam champion at Nike's new flagship store in New York City.

Sharapova discusses running in the Zoom Pegasus line, her eclectic style, Riccardo Tisci designing her an on-court dress inspired by her 2006 U.S. Open title, her own versions of the Nike Cortez, and more.

"The [Cortez] is so timeless. You can never go wrong," says Sharapova. "In a world where chunky and loud is so on-trend at the moment, I feel like the Cortez sums it up in a nice way. It's elegant, it's timeless, it's so classic, and if you buy it today you're going to wear it in years."
