For today's highly anticipated NBA Christmas Day matchup featuring the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant has a special pair of Nike KD 11s.
Inspired by the cartoon character Scrooge McDuck, this KD 11 sports a white mesh upper featuring vibrant yellow hits on the toe box, heel counter and midsole. A green and yellow graphic print references the duck's obsession with money, illustrated by gold coins and dollar bills throughout. Perhaps the theme of this pair is a call back to Durant's "KD is NOT NICE" Nike campaign from 2012.
As with most PEs, the KD 11 "Scrooge" won't be releasing to the public. The Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers tip-off today at 8 PM ET on ESPN.
