2018 was a big year for Russell Westbrook's Jordan signature sneaker line. The on-court Why Not Zer0.1 debuted at the top of the year followed by the lifestyle-driven Westbrook 0.3 last fall. Rather than dial back the output for the new year, Jordan Brand has plans to drop more Westbrook models including this Why Not Zer0.2.

The sequel to the Why Not Zer0.1 is set to arrive in January. A noticeable departure from its predecessor, the Why Not Zer0.2 forgoes the shroud-covered build of Westbrook's first model for a more traditional lacing system. Materials include a mix of mesh and textiles, while multicolor details make this colorway especially eye-catching. Also worth mentioning are the woven branded tag at the rear medial side and the size tag on the outsole.

As for a release date, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.2 is expected to drop overseas on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

UPDATE 01/01: Jordan Brand has officially introduced Russell Westbrook's Why Not Zer0.2. The performance model's tech specs include a max volume Zoom Air bag in the forefoot, a decoupled outsole with a visible midfoot shank, and an external TPU heel counter. The sneaker launches globally on Jan. 10 for men, followed by full family sizing later in the month.
