In September, sneaker fans were treated to a glimpse of what LiAngelo Ball was cooking up for his upcoming Big Baller Brand G3 (Gelo 3) signature sneaker thanks to footwear designer David Raysse. Now, it looks like the new model is dropping soon.
Officially announced by BBB on Instagram, the G3 Lux will feature a mid-top design that uses a combination of full-grain Nappa leather and premium suede, while a mid-foot strap holds the foot in place. The collar adds additional support with a dual collar that functions as a built-in ankle brace by keeping your heel secured, while the tongue emphasizes on breathability that's similar to a sock. For the tooling, the sole features a revolutionary foam that claims to have 40% more rebound than the traditional EVA cushioning, with an X-blade outsole that will grip to even the dustiest of basketball courts. 1 of 3 colorways set to launch includes the "Patriots" iteration dressed in a patriotic red, white and blue scheme.
The BBB G3 Lux will be available for pre-order starting on New Years Day at bigballerbrand.com. Expect the kicks to retail at $495.
