There were a number of great Air Jordans released this year, but how many dropped in total? Thanks to data from J23app, we now have an answer.
In all, 184 "signature" Air Jordan sneakers were released, which encompasses everything from retros and collaborations to the Jordan 32 and Jordan 33 performance models. Also included in the total figures are women's and kid's exclusives. But the real kicker is the combined retail value of all the pairs: $32,800.
The most expensive pairs of the year included three retros at $250 apiece; the "Chinese New Year" Air Jordan 6, "Cap and Gown" Air Jordan 11, and Justin Timberlake's "Bio Beige" Air Jordan 3 JTH.
Interestingly enough, last year's total was just a few hundred dollars off in comparison, with a total combined value of $32,428.
