Complex's hit series Sneaker Shopping with host Joe La Puma toured Nike's new flagship store in New York City with Giant's wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on the most recent—and first-ever shoppable—episode.

Known for his one-handed catches, extravagant style, and on and off-field Nikes, the All-Pro athlete was there to talk his most recent project with the Swoosh—an Air Force 1 Low Utility he helped design. The gridiron star spoke of his longtime hopes of being more than a consumer with Nike.

"This has been like a dream come true. Nike was everything growing up," said Beckham Jr.

OBJ's Air Force 1 Low Utility, which saw a pre-release on The NTWRK app and releases again tomorrow on SNKRS, comes dressed in a grey snakeskin upper and features a glow-in-the-dark sole. When asked about his inspiration for the design, he credited the folks over at Nike for showing him samples and templates of other sneakers and potential designs. "I'm very happy with it, it's just crazy to see your name on a sneaker," he added.

Check out the full interview in the video above to hear OBJ talk about getting sneakers from his dad, his Air Max 1 collection, sending shoes to Jarvis Laundry, his love for soccer cleats, and to see what he ended up taking home.
