European retailer Slam Jam is linking up with Adidas Consortium for a two-sneaker collab which features one retro shoe and one new shoe in a new minimalist light.Â
Dipping into the archives and selecting the 80s Superstar, the joint project also features a recent silhouette from the brand with the Three Stripes, the P.O.D. System. Dressed up in tonal whites and creams with black accents, the new light-colored scheme gives the models a plain and simple look.Â
The 80s Superstar plays with subtle details like leather on the toe, smooth leather on the upper, a blacked out heel tab, and asymmetrical stitching on the sneaker's lateral side. The P.O.D. System comes in a similar aesthetic with white and cream tonal hits on the upper, midsole, and Boost heel. The contemporary runner also features a snug neoprene fit and leather throughout.Â
The collaboration drops Saturday, Nov. 17 in-store and online at slamjamsocialism.com.
